§1 General provisions
This Privacy Policy ("Policy") sets out the terms and conditions governing the processing of personal data of Users of PigeonBid.com (the "Service") and the use of cookies.

Personal data shall be processed in accordance with the applicable legal provisions, including in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council ("RODO").
§2 Scope of data collection
As part of the use of the Website, the Administrator may process the following personal data:
(a) identification data (name, surname, user name),
(b) contact details (e-mail address, telephone number, postal address),
c) data relating to activity on the Website (auction history, bids, sales, messages),
(d) payment and billing data (to the extent necessary for billing/invoicing),
e) technical data (IP address, cookie identifiers, device and browser information).
§3 Data processing purposes
Users' personal data is processed for the following purposes:
(a) to provide electronic services and enable the use of the Website,
b) the conduct and settlement of auctions, including contact between users,
(c) billing and payment of tax liabilities,
(d) handling complaints and notifications,
e) marketing of the Website's own services, including newsletters (with the User's consent),

§4 Legal basis for processing
The legal bases for data processing are:
(a) Article 6(1)(b) of the RODO - necessity for the performance of the contract (use of the Service),
(b) Article 6(1)(c) RODO - legal obligations incumbent on the Administrator (e.g. taxation),
(c) Article 6(1)(f) RODO - legitimate interest of the Administrator (e.g. securing claims, own marketing),
(d) Article 6(1)(a) RODO - User consent (e.g. for a newsletter).
§5 Data sharing
Personal data may be shared:
a) authorised employees and associates of the Administrator,
(b) entities providing services to the Administrator (e.g. IT, accounting, legal services),
(c) to public authorities entitled to obtain them by law.
Data will not be transferred to third countries or international organisations outside the European Economic Area unless this is necessary for the performance of the contract and the User is informed.
§6 Data retention period
Personal data will be stored for the duration of the use of the Website and for the period necessary for the statute of limitations for possible claims or the fulfilment of tax and accounting obligations.
Data processed on the basis of consent will be stored until the consent is withdrawn.
§7 Users' rights
The user has rights under the RODO, in particular:
(a) the right to access and obtain a copy of your data,

(c) the right to erasure ("right to be forgotten"),

The user has the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (PUODO).
§8 Data security
The controller shall apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure.
Only persons authorised by the Administrator have access to personal data.

The website uses cookies for:
a) to ensure the correct operation of the Website,
b) to facilitate the use of the Website (remembering preferences),
(c) statistical analytics,
d) marketing activities (with the User's consent).
The user can change the cookie settings of his/her internet browser at any time.
§10 Final provisions
The Administrator reserves the right to make changes to the Policy.
Any change will be published on the Website with the effective date.
In matters not regulated, the provisions of the RODO and Polish law shall apply.
